I’m working hard to get this new site looking cool, but in the mean time I have some exciting (maybe just for me, but meh) news. I am now the owner of Teh Chad Marketing, LLC! I’ll put up a page on this site for it, but I’m going to keep it separate from the blog.
Through all of my hobbies and passions, the underlying theme has always been people. From climbing to poker, people are always needed. When it comes to anything, people can get a bit nervous when they don’t know how everything works and the web is no different. Its funny to me how much more comfortable people are when they have an idea about things. So, giving people a good grasp on the thought process is very important. This is what I do when working with someone. A chief justice in the US Supreme court said “Sunlight is the greatest disinfectant.”
It’s a grand day!

The latest buzz in entertainment is the movie “Avatar.” People keep talking about how amazing they thought it really was. Well, I had the opportunity to go see it a couple weeks ago.
First off, I have to give props to James Cameron and the visual effects people. They did an outstanding job and pushed the limits yet again. The bar that was established by Toy Story and then the Matrix has just been obliterated. Mark my words, people will be talking about this movie for years to come. Directors and visual people will be thinking about this movie as they make more.
The story, in and of itself, has been told many times. The version that I enjoyed the most was portrayed in the film “Dances with Wolves.” So, I’m pretty meh on the story.
My favorite part in the entire film is near the beginning as the protagonist is introduced to his boss. Another worker, I believe his name was Norm, says this line very emphatically: “…she wrote the book — I mean literally wrote the book…” Two seconds later, out walks Sigourney Weaver! This allusion to Aliens was by far the most entertaining moment for me.

Recently, I’ve been thinking a lot about how I think and being positive or negative.  I’ve come to the conclusion that most of what I think about is negative.  I think a lot about things like how certain people aren’t getting along, disasters in the world like Haiti and Columbine high school.  I’ve thought about wars and how I’m gaining weight.

The feeling of realignment seems right.  There were a lot of times in the past couple of years where I wasn’t psyched on anything.  I was more ‘meh’ about my life.

Nothing comes easily when talking about changing habits.  So as this change comes about, more focus will be put on the positive.  Less time will be allowed for the negative.
